Your own subscriber list and lead capture page.

I know what you’re thinking; “my MLM company already provides me with my own lead capture page, why should I put in the time and effort to make another one from scratch?”

And here are just four reasons why:

1. Everyone else in your company has the same capture page.

2. You’re not setting yourself apart from everyone else promoting your product – what makes you so special?

3. Those contacts are ONLY allowed to be used for promoting the company’s product – you don’t have any leverage.

4. A Free Bonus – you’ll need something to entice people to subscribe to your list like a free email course or report.

5. Your Web Copy – you’re going to need to sell visitors on your offer in writing.

Why are there so many people who have looked for Network Marketing Success only to become another statistic of the 97% failure rate of people who have gotten into the network marketing industry and quit? Why is that figure so high anyway? What is the underlying cause that has plagued this industry since it’s inception, and yet has made more millionaires than any other industry in history EVER.

To find these answers to what causes this we must look deep within ourselves.

How many times have you given yourself stipulations on getting results like:

Well, I will just give it 30 days and see if this works.

Now lets be honest. How many times have you tried something and put a time limit on it’s success or, that’s it, if it doesn’t work in ‘this time period’, your out of there.

Or if it didn’t work in 6 months, you will quit. How many people do this? Well, I have said it and I expect there are many reading this that you have also said it.

And what happened? The time limit came, it didn’t work, and you were GONE. DONE. FINI.

Oh, and then there is “the grass is greener on the other side” excuse.

Boy did I use this one in the past. It’s the product’s fault. It’s the company’s fault. It’s the comp plan’s fault and that’s why nobody will join me in my business.

Or I didn’t get any support from my upline and it’s their fault.

Like give me a break! Are you an entrepreneur or are you looking to be baby sat.

Then there are the old cop out cliques:

I tried.I can’t.It doesn’t work.

What kind of attitude are you going into busness with anyway? Well I will tell you it didn’t do anything for my attitude of success when I did it, it only gave me an attitude of failure because that was what I expected to happen.

Then I could tell myself, “See, I told you so. I knew it wouldn’t work”. And then I felt good because I was right, RIGHT? ‘NOT’.

It was just an excuse to justify the fact that I hadn’t made an honest effort to succeed in my business so I didn’t have to take the responsibility for my own failure.

I am not trying to pick on anybody here, I am just trying to be honest. But how many are in this same position right now?

In my last installment of MLM Online Success, I eluded to the idea that there were only 2 reasons that will ensure you of becoming successful online. Those 2 reasons, in case you missed my first article are that you are either perceived by many as a leader or expert in your industry or you have a system in place that will enable you to have MLM online success.

Let us take a closer look and expand upon the idea of having a system. What are some of the benefits of a system and what, if any, are the drawbacks. In MLM online success you need a system to do the majority of your work. It is impossible to keep in contact with your team via personal emails and individual meetings. Having a system in place gives you an unfair business advantage. You can have MLM online success with a system that is virtually automated. Don’t get me wrong, there are still hours of upfront input and documentation that needs your attention. You need to do a tremendous amount of copy or article writing. You may also have the need for training videos and other methods by which you can keep your colleagues current. Most importantly, you will need to have a series of emails for your list of contacts that keeps adding value to their everyday life. Keep in mind, if your list gets big enough you will have MLM online success because on any given day, someone on your list will be interested in purchasing whatever it may be that you have to offer. With this system you have an opportunity to market to anyone on your list for as long as you want.
